Part time Asset Protection Associate

Job Overview
The Asset Protection Associate plays a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of company assets. This position involves monitoring and preventing theft, conducting investigations, and ensuring compliance with security protocols. The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills and a keen understanding of loss prevention techniques to effectively safeguard the organization’s resources.

Responsibilities

• Asset Protection & Security Possesses knowledge of: Asset protection policies, practices, and guidelines; environmental, health, and safety laws and regulations. To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Supports facility security staff. Monitors and maintains access control equipment.
• Inbound and outbound all appointment loads as well as Walmart freight.
• Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate tense situations.

Experience

• Previous experience in loss prevention or asset protection is preferred.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail to identify potential security threats.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.40 - $22.40 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• Evening shift
• No weekends
