Summary:

Fast-paced environment that provides clerical assistance and support

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Process member payments received via mail and online

Assemble daily deposit & take to the Credit Union

Review high & low usage accounts

Run & review various billing reports both daily and weekly

Pick-up, open, sort, and distribute incoming mail

Collect, seal, and process outgoing mail

Take mail to the post office

Assist with capital credits

Input summer meter readings collected by meter readers

Collect and enter meter reading time cards and mileage sheets

Sort and file records

Answer and place member phone calls regarding meter readings

May assist with phone calls during high volume outages

Assists with coverage of the front counter

Other duties as assigned

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience:

High School Diploma required. Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred. Or a combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
