Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a positive dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests as they arrive and provide them with menus
  • Manage the seating chart to ensure efficient table turnover
  • Assist guests with reservations and accommodate special requests
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area
  • Answer phone calls promptly, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations
  • Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism
  • Uphold high standards of guest relations and hospitality

Skills

  • Previous Host/Host experience is preferred
  • Background in food service or restaurant experience is beneficial
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
  • Experience in hotel guest services can be advantageous
  • Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations while serving guests
  • Knowledge of serving etiquette and hospitality best practices
  • Strong phone etiquette for handling reservations and inquiries effectively
  • Commitment to creating positive guest relations through attentive service
