Position Overview

We’re looking for an energetic and reliable team member who can work both the front counter and the kitchen. As a Cashier/Cook, you’ll greet customers, take orders, handle transactions, and also prepare menu items to our standards. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Cashier Duties:

• Greet guests with a friendly attitude and take orders accurately.
• Operate the POS system, handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments.
• Answer customer questions about the menu and promotions.
• Keep the front counter and dining area clean and stocked.

Cook Duties:

• Prepare and cook menu items (sandwiches, sides, etc.) according to recipes and portion standards.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely (grill, fryer, slicer, etc.).
• Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards.
• Assist with prep work and restocking as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred, but not required (we’ll train the right person).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to follow directions.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Food Manager License Strongly Preferred. Food Handler and Bassett will be required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
